Who We Are

We are a mother-daughter editing team! We are both working writers. Individually and together, we have led workshops on everything from character to query letters.

Rebecca Rule hosted the New Hampshire Authors Series for ten years on NHPBS and now hosts Our Hometown on NHPBS. She’s been telling stories in New England, especially NH, for more than thirty years. She has published picture books, yankee humor, essays, and short story collections, including The Best Revenge, which was named one of five essential NH books by New Hampshire Magazine. Her master's in writing is from UNH, where she also taught fiction. Becky's latest book is That Reminds Me of a Funny Story (Hobblebush Press).

Recent projects include crafting a series of interviews with Joel Sherburne into a book about his experiences working at Calef’s Country Store (Sixty Years of Cuttin’ the Cheese), choosing and editing fiction for the anthology Ten Piscataqua Writers, helping a writer develop stories about his boyhood into a chapter book for young readers, editing a retiree’s memoir about growing up on the Maine coast as part of a fishing family, and writing and editing articles for an online newspaper, The Pawtuckaway Forum.
